Seasoned broadcast sales leader will expand BE’s global reach across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Canada
Broadcast Electronics (BE), a global designer and manufacturer of broadcast products, has named Kyle Dibbin as Director of International Sales, responsible for leading the company’s sales growth across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Canada. Based in Toronto, the appointment reinforces BE’s commitment to customer-first growth and expanding its presence with radio broadcasters worldwide, and follows the company’s recent acquisition by a growth-focused US-based investor group and its NAB 2026 Best of Show Award for the revolutionary AMX compact AM transmitter series.
Dibbin brings fourteen years in broadcast transmission at Nautel and a rare, end-to-end command of the business to his new role. He began on the production floor testing and verifying FM, AM, and navigational transmitters, then moved into field service — commissioning and repairing systems on-site and training broadcasters in operation, troubleshooting, and repair both in the field and in-factory. He went on to lead worldwide business development before taking on regional sales leadership for the Middle East and Africa, where he helped deliver FM and AM transmission systems for national broadcasters and large network rollouts across the EMEA region. That progression — from the workbench, to the field, to the deal — gives him a deep technical understanding of the products and a firsthand grasp of what it takes to support broadcasters through complex, high-stakes projects.
“Kyle understands our customers and our technology from the ground up, and that combination is exactly what we need as we accelerate our growth in international markets,” said Rich Redmond, President and CEO of Broadcast Electronics. He added, “His career reflects the customer-first focus that defines BE — a deep technical foundation paired with a genuine commitment to helping broadcasters succeed, which is the perfect complement to our investment in customer-focused innovation and new products that deliver breakthrough capabilities to our global radio customers.”
“I am excited to join the new and reinvigorated Broadcast Electronics,” Dibbin said. “BE’s focus on compact, energy-efficient, and serviceable products and flexible software solutions is exactly what broadcasters around the world are looking for, and I look forward to helping our international customers find next-generation solutions that enable them to deliver content reliably and profitably.”
