D-Pro-6TV Standard Features

The D-PRO-6TV version is equipped with SDI audio embedder-de-embedder with automatic bypass in case of failure.

A loudness limiter equalizes the perceived loudness among different audio program sources such as live shows, commercials, films, music videos, complying with the ITU-R BS.1770 standard.

The processor can work with the audio stream embedded into the SDI (SD – HD) signal or can be used as an audio embedder to insert the audio coming from an external source into the SDI signal.

An adjustable delay line helps with lip-syncing the embedded audio to the incoming video.​

All outputs are bypassed to their respective inputs in case of malfunction.​

DMPX

Digital Stereo Coder with Dynamic RDS

The Broadcast Electronics DMPX is a Swiss Army Knife for your FM airchain that allows a wide variety of inputs, and switches automatically between them in case of an STL failure.

It encodes in Stereo, and adds Dynamic RDS to the signal. ​

DMPX Standard Features

DMPX is a stereo coder with RDS generator able to handle dynamic content as Radiotext and Radiotext+.​

DSP-based digital architecture ensures excellent audio signal processing and a high signal to noise ratio.​

The automatic back-up system switches between the various input sources making it possible to easily achieve redundancy of all signals.​

The included software allows quick local or remote management of all the operational parameters, and backup and restoring to disk.​

Designed for intuitive use at radio transmitter sites, all parameters can be viewed and edited from the front panel, allowing technical personnel to be able to operate quickly even without a PC.​

DXVR

Digital Audio Changeover

The Broadcast Electronics DXVR Digital Audio Changeover is a specialized device that can solve many problems in today’s complex broadcast environment.

It selects an input from a RDS verified MPX, Analog L/R, AES/EBU, or an optional streaming IP input and routes it to both Analog L/R and AES/EBU outputs.​

DXVR Standard Features

With the DXVR the MPX signal is decoded into L/R channels by a DSP-based stereo decoder which also provide stereo and RDS subcarrier level metering.​

The MPX source is considered valid only if the PI code matches with the one stored internally. The user can determine the switching priority of the various sources and the switching timings and thresholds, using the front panel display or with a dedicated software.​

This unit include a passive emergency bypass, so that any input will be bypassed on its respective output, in case of hardware or software failure.​

The front panel LCD allows the monitoring of the current status of the system.​

FM SFN

FM Single Frequency Network Adapter

If you are considering a Single Frequency Network, you know how critical time synchronization is.

That’s where the Broadcast Electronics SFN Adapter comes in. The unit is connected between the STL receiver and the FM modulator and generates a 10MHz reference signal used for the FM modulator, no GPS frequency reference is needed.

The FM SFN Adapter synchronizes one or more FM repeaters operating over the same area and using the same frequency and content.

Installation and setup is very quick: the unit is connected between the STL receiver and the FM modulator and generates a 10MHz reference signal used for the FM modulator, no GPS frequency reference is needed.​

The unit can be controlled remotely with an optional internal webserver which will also provide a 9600bps general purpose serial port that can be used for example, to control the connected transmitter.​

MPX-S

Multimode network splitter

The Broadcast Electronics MPX-S multimode network splitter is a device used to differentiate advertisements airing among different areas of the same FM Radio network. 

MPX-S Standard Features

It can handle up to 16 different areas in a single rack unit device and can accept splitting commands from many of the major commercial radio automation systems including Broadcast Electronics AudioVault.​

Maximum reliability is obtained by using high-quality solid-state audio switches, allowing for a redundant power supply and having a passive safety switch which will connect all outputs to the network input in case of internal failure.​

The MPX-S has an integrated MPX monitor, that can be selected among any output, including a DSP based stereo decoder, an RDS decoder and a subcarrier meter.​

The front panel LCD allows the monitoring of the audio level of all inputs and their network/split status, and also shows and records any anomaly occurring during advertisement airing.​

New features can be easily implemented by upgrading the operating firmware, locally or remotely.​

Transmitter Site Switcher / Stereo Encoder

The Broadcast Electronics STL-SAT is a world-class problem-solver!

This miracle will accept AES/EBU and analog L&R as well as Stereo MPX from a composite STL, and automatically switch to keep you on-air.

It monitors and fixes any RDS problems as well, so it’s perfect for translators. 

STL-SAT Standard Features

The STL/SAT Changeover provides an automatic audio changeover between a stereo signal coming from a satellite receiver or other source and an MPX composite signal coming from a STL receiver. ​

Any of the two audio sources can be selected as the main source and the unit will continuously monitor its parameters, including audio level, pilot level, PI code and RDS quality (audio level monitoring applies to the stereo audio source).​

When any of the user-defined alarm thresholds are active on the main source, the unit will switch to the backup source, returning to the main automatically once it recovers.​

A GSM modem can be fitted internally for remote control and alarms signaling through SMS.​

A unique feature of this unit is the capability of suppressing the incoming RDS signal and superimposing a new, internally generated one, or replacing its AF tables only. In this latter case, all other pre-existing dynamic services will pass through the unit unmodified.
