Building and sustaining long-term relationships has always been a source of pride for Broadcast Electronics. In recent months BE wrapped up another AudioVAULT project with STARadio Corp. stations WKAN (Kankakee, IL) and KWGF (Great Falls, MT) with multiple AVFleX software instances, work stations, servers, audio drivers, and remote voicetrack (FleXWeb) capabilities.

According to STARadio director of engineering Philip Reilly III, “We have been using AudioVAULT for years, so upgrading to FleX made sense.” Reilly emphasized reliability as one of the key components of a radio automation system, and AudioVAULT is nothing short of dependable. “AudioVAULT just works,” Reilly said.

From start to finish, sales manager to technical support, and everyone else in between, Broadcast Electronics presented the complete package for STARadio. It was a seamless process, Reilly indicated. “They were very helpful.”

Reilly worked closely with BE sales manager Ben Marth, and they were able to quickly address STARadio’s needs and adjust accordingly. “The sales engineer was very helpful during the ordering process,” Reilly said.

Marth added, “Partnering with STARadio on this project was truly gratifying. To play a small role in providing AudioVAULT, a highly-touted, stable, and steady automation system, to Philip and his team at STARadio, and then to physically see it in use at the station, is humbling and rewarding at the same time.”

As the project transitioned to system configuration, BE technical services manager Hector Brown, and BE technical services applications engineer Charlie Noble, took over. “Tech support was great during the installation,” Reilly added.

BE continues to innovate with the soon-to-be released version of AudioVAULT, AV11, and Marth said it’s one of the reasons he joined the team. “AV11 undoubtedly is the cream of the crop, and I’m thrilled to be able to offer such a dynamic product to our customers. I am confident BE’s current and new clients will be just as excited about the new offerings.”

BE general manager Tim Weis said Marth will continue to provide the unparalleled support the company prides itself on.

“Since joining BE, Ben has been doing an amazing job with AudioVAULT sales, our customers love him, and our AudioVAULT sales and customer retention are higher than they have been in a long time, and with AudioVAULT 11 coming out soon, sales are expected to soar.”
