BROADCAST ELECTRONICS (BE) TO SHOW NEW VERSION OF AUDIOVAULT FLEX AT IBC AND RADIO SHOW 2011

New version 10.10 addresses complex program transitions, on-air spontaneity,multi-studio navigation, and workflow flexibility

 

Broadcast Electronics (BE) will show a new version of its popular AudioVAULT FleX studio control system at the IBC 2011 conference in Amsterdam and the upcoming 2011 Radio Show in Chicago.  

 

In addition to a single track editor built into the on-air screen and professional segue editor with audio gain envelope for tricky program transitions, notable version 10.10 features include true “live” mode for on-air spontaneity, convenient tabbed gadget docks for navigating today’s expanding radio operation, and click-and-drag file marker for creating continuous audio loops or hooks leading into a break.

 

The new version also has updated screen layouts that can be personalized and preset for even greater workflow flexibility. “This latest version builds on the versatility of the AudioVAULT FleX in order to meet the ever changing demands made on today’s radio studio,” said Ray Miklius, BE’s Vice President of Studio Operations. 

 

Version10.10 began making its way into studios earlier this year,adding to AudioVAULT FleX’s IP audio networking and studio synchronization capabilities for quick access to music and real-time collaboration with talent anywhere in the network. The AudioVAULT platform has dozens of tools for creating, scheduling and delivering content and can be configured for any size operation, from a single station to a multi-site network of stations.

 

AudioVAULT FleX, along with BE’s AM,FM and HD Radio transmission lines, The Radio Experience (TRE) datacasting suite and new BE interactive tools, will be showcased at BE booth 329 during the 2011 Radio Show and BE stand 8.C91 at the IBC 2011 conference.  In addition, BE’s Senior Product Manager of Studio Systems Jim Roberts will speak about new studio trends during the Engineering session at the Radio Show. His presentation, Getting Your Arms Around Today’s Fast Paced Studio, is on Wednesday, September 14, from 1:30 to2:00 p.m.
