BROADCAST ELECTRONICS (BE) DEMONSTRATES "MISSION CRITICAL RADIO" AT NAB 2011

March  10,  2011

Demonstrating rugged reliability and flexibility, Broadcast Electronics (BE) will show at the upcoming NAB 2011 convention its portable radio systems used by U.S. military and other radio operations around the world.

These systems include everything needed for remote, temporary or emergency operation, including BE's AudioVAULT studio control system and BE's 1kW STX LP transmitter along with mixer, audio processor and audio-over-IP connectivity in one rugged case.

BE's STX LP is a lightweight, solid-state transmitter with built-in FM exciter, backup controller and more in a small footprint; it includes IP connectivity for monitoring RF operation remotely from any laptop or PC.

BE's AudioVAULT is an all-inclusive automation system with studio tools for creating, managing and delivering audio programming. As the heart of the studio, AudioVAULT offers fully automated or live-assist operation with local or remote control via an IP connection. It can receive and play IP audio sent over the IP data network and can also accept outside audio sources for recording or playout. A network of many AudioVAULT "boxes" can provide the ability to record and share programs between multiple locations.

Easily transportable, these systems are ideal for backup or temporary operation during extreme weather conditions or other emergency situations when a portable, "mission critical" system is needed. BE’s portable radio solutions will be on display at booth C2217 during the NAB convention.
