BROADCAST ELECTRONICS (BE) SHOWCASES NEW STUDIO TOOLS AND LATEST TRANSMITTER AT CABSAT MENA

Broadcast Electronics (BE) returns to the CABSAT MENA conference with new studio tools for its AudioVAULTradio automation system and its latest low power, scalable FM transmitter with built-inextras such as exciter and IP connectivity.

  

BE will showcase these and other studio and RF products, including RDS generators and new social media applications, at stand S2-14 in the Sheikh Saeed Hall.

 

New AudioVAULT FleX tools include an enhanced voice tracker and segue editor with gain envelope control for seamlessly managing cross fades. Also new is an audio production gadget dock with support for quick records, and marking hooks and loops on the fly. These new features bring additional functionality into making the delivery of programming more efficient in real-time.

“Overall,we are continuing our strategy for a studio system that is responsive and customizable. These additions make it easier for talent to respond to on-air situations and to switch between applications quicker," says Ray Miklius, Vice President of Studio Operations for Broadcast Electronics.

 

AudioVAULT FleX is BE's next-generation automation system featuring time-proven reliability, true IP networking, and changeable screens according to talent preference, show requirements or other studio purposes. Used by thousands of radio studios worldwide, the AudioVAULT platform has dozens of tools to choose from for creating, managing and delivering content.

 

BE will also present at the CABSAT MENA conference its latest FM transmitter. BE’s STX LP is of particular interest to private broadcasters because of its price,size, scalability and feature-rich capabilities. It is scalable from 1 kW to 5 kW and features advanced, single-frequency technology for synchronized, continuous regional coverage. In addition to its STX LP, BE makes a full line of AM and FM transmitters for a wide range of power levels and applications.
